Rare Documented Pair Of 18th C American Chippendale Rococo Portsmouth, New Hampshire Mahogany Side Chairs Attributed To The Oldest Brick Warren Family Household Inventory In Portsmouth. The Rare Rococo Carving Style Present In These Chairs Is The American Craftsmenship In Portsmouth In 1785. The Backs Of Each Chair Is In Superb Condition. The Front Legs On One Chair Have Been Replaced The Other Chair Is Fine. A Very Rare Surviving Documented Example. Mellow Nut Brown Patina
