| Superb 20th C American Oil Painting "Geranium" - Which is a floral still life with bucket" - Signed by the artist: Russell Cheney, dated: 1941 lower right corner. Oil on masonite of an interior scene show a floral flowering plant in a small clay pot resting in a bowl with a brass bucket and a white cloth beside it. The backdrop is a corner of a soft white painted room. Housed in a simple painted white wood frame. On the back of the masonite is light written title, date and artist. Exhibited in New York City in 1941 at Feragil Galleries. Size: 24" X 30" Condition: Excellent. Strong more vibrant colors in person |
