Rare & Important Early 19th C American Vermont Inlaid Mahogany & Birds Eye Maple Federal Tall French Notched Foot, Scalloped Skirt, Inlaid Drop Panel In Center of Bottom Skirt Of Chest As Well As In The Center Of The Top. Original Oval Brass Hardware. Attributed Origin: Middlebury, Burlington, or Charlotte, Vermont Cabinet Making Workshops. This Lovely Chest Was Purchased 40 Plus Years Ago In Burlington, Vermont Community By The Original Owners Children Who I Acquired It From. It Was Then Given To The Son & Daughter In Law Who Then Traveled With This Lovely Chest To London & Paris Then Back To NYC Where I Acquired It. In A Superb State Of Preservation. A Rare Above Average Historical Document Of Vermont Furniture Worthy Of Any Serious Collection. Circa: 1795-1825 In An Excellent State Of Preservation.
