Superb Set Of Early 19th C American Federal Mahogany Carved New York Classical Sabre Leg Side Chairs. Each with A Molded Tablet Crest Above Stylizied Acanthus Leaves And Festoon Spilling Fruit Baskets With Acorn Nuts Carved Back Splats In The Middle Joined To Molded Stiles Framing A Slip Seat, Raised On Molded Slender Solid Tapering Sabre Legs. Circa: 1815-1830. In An Excellent State Of Preservation. Original Surface. Warm Mellow Nut Brown Patina. No Damage To Any Of The Chair Backs Which Is An Exceptional Find! Nice Quality With Solid Construction & Workmanship.
