Rare & Important 19th C American Shaker Canterbury, N.H. Pristine Palm & Rose Silk Best Wear Sister Bonnet With Original Hat Box. Written On Bottom Of Box. This bonnet belonged to Sister Lillian Phelps given to Bud Thompson by Eldress Bertha Lindsey following the death of our good friend Lillian. Museum Quality Mint Condition Absolutely No Damage, Breaks, Replacements, Stress Fractures, Silk Worm Holes, etc. Pristine Unsoiled Condition. It was one of the prized possessions of any Shaker Sister. Former Owner: Sister Lillian Phelps - Canterbury, New Hampshire.
