| Superb 19th C American Federal Classical Carved Mahogany Games Table Of Diminutive Proportions Circa: 1820-1830. The D-Shaped folding top above a frieze with central carved floral mahogany panel, on a successful acanthus-carved urn pedestal, concave base and hipped acanthus-carved downswept legs ending in stylized lion's paw feet. Original Casters. In an excellent state of preservation. Recently polished. The flip top swivels counter clockwise to open the playing surface to a square format. Finely dovetailed interior storage compartment below lid which is a secondary wood of birdseye maple veneer. Overall excellent condition. A delightful & useful size for a compact space.
