Fine Early Rare 19th C American Folk Art Dovetailed Black Painted Chelsea, Vermont Storage Box. Circa: 1820-1840. ***The Wonderful Thing About This Box Is The Lack Of Attention To Correct Grammer. Notice The Assumed Maker FC. At The Top Of Lid, Followed By Chelsea Having A Period, Followed By VT Having A Comma. If Children Could Of Stayed In School Learning And Not Have To Worry About Farm Work At Home They Would Of Completed This Project Correctly. Regarding The State Of Living Condition In Rural Country Life At This Period Of American History This Makes A Statement Of The Best The Country Could Offer From This Person. Circa: 1820-1840 Completely Original Excellent Condition
