This Is A Very Fine Pair Of American Early 19th Century New York Federal Dense Mahogany & Mahogany Veneer Carved Formal Side Chairs With A Molded Flame Mahogany Veneer Top Crest Rail, Elegant Acanthus Carved Scrolled Leaf Back Splats, Ribbed Saber Legs With Slip Seats. Circa 1800-1825 Overall Excellent Condition Mellow Nut Brown Patina. No damage, repair or replacements to the acanthus carved backs, both chairs are in excellent condition.
