This is a very fine American 18th century Chippendale Northern New England birchwood corner chair with scalloped shaped arms and back, fine turned supports, graceful pierced owl eye back slats with original cross stretcher base with a rush seat. Overall excellent condition. Old refinish. Circa 1760-1780. Height 31 1/4 x width 28 1/2 x depth 23 (seat height 17)
