American 18th C. Chippendale Reverse Serpentine Molded Top Candlestand

Rare American 18th Century Chippendale reverse serpentine one board molded top candlestand with a tappering center urn column supported on cabriole Queen Anne arched legs. The candlestand has an old surface, remnants of pads on the base of the feet, customary strinkage with grain on the serpentine molded top. Excellent condition. This candlestand was found in an estate in Weare, New Hampshire. Circa 1760-1790. Soft mellow amber patina. Size: 15 13/16 width x 16 1/2length top x 27 1/2 height
